A Mechanicville city council special meeting passed a resolution authorizing the city attorney to pursue legislation to equalize representation on the Saratoga County Board of Supervisors. The council also plans to press on with talks with Saratoga Springs officials to push the measure. An ordinance was introduced on traffic rules for Main Street, Canal Street, and Park Avenue, restricting parking on specified blocks.
