Friday morning January 12 1948 a cultural society meeting was held in the Hotel Trey. Mrs Mabel Bakers musician was selected as a committee member and Peggy Evers chosen as a society member. Gloria Burley presided and Miss Carat Sabel and Miss Marilyn Gurtie Blake led social activities.
