Left Wing Wins U E Balloting In Schenectady Union
The left wing of Schenectady United Electrical Workers Union won a sweeping victory in yesterday's executive board elections. Business Agent Leo Jandreau and 10 others allied with him secured 20 of 24 board seats, amid disputes over alleged Communist ties and outside interference. The meeting featured heated exchanges, with clergy from local Roman Catholic churches cited in statements, and notes on affidavits filed with the U.S. Attorney.
