New and remaining committee chairs are detailed, with McNeary Brown and Edwards moving into new roles as several Democrats stir debate. Residents advised on Social Security in Saratoga Springs
Low income residents who are blind aged or disabled may apply for SSI at Saratoga Springs City Hall on Mondays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to noon. Eligibility hinges on age disability or blindness and income and resource limits. Medicaid cards should arrive automatically from the county social services department. The city hall site may pose access issues due to stairs, so the Senior Citizens Center offered its future space at Hamilton and William Streets.
