Grand Jury Probes Theft Of Car In Rensselaer County
The Rensselaer County grand jury examined two charges against William C. Hartman 18 of 1540 3rd Ave in Wadervliet. He faces grand larceny in Troy December 15 for a car owned by Andrew Enring of Wynantskill and burglary with petit larceny at Ramp Parking Lot the night of February. Assistant District Attorney John E Burke presented evidence. The jury adjourned to continue next Monday and will file a final report in Supreme Court.

The 40 year old Frei Schmidt pistol whipped, shot, and torched in a barn siege near Wausau Wisconsin. He wounded a bartender and another patron before being fatally hit by return fire, as a county prosecutor and deputy were among the injured.
