The Watervliet Knights of Columbus assemble tonight in the lodge rooms to set plans for the annual joint Communion and breakfast. Rev. Thomas hoe Curley will present the second Lecten program after the business meeting, followed by a Q and A session. Joseph Higipin chairs the meeting with James Sage supervising the Lenten talks.
The Watervliet Pulaski Club formed a special committee to sponsor civic cultural and educational programs. John Lapinski chaired assisted by Matthew Peenican with other officers to meet soon to draft protests and resolutions regarding Atlantic Charter violations and the Crimex Conference. Presidents from Immaculate Conception Church related groups will attend and the club plans to donate to the Red Cross.

A Mulport resident, 47 year old Eimira Jude, was killed yesterday when his automobile was struck at the E mira Heights grade crossing by a Delaware, Lackawanna and Western passenger train. The collision occurred as the train approached, the locomotive report indicated.
