May Bar Air Rifles Moves By Rensselaer Council
A fatal shooting of a 16 year old Albany boy prompts Rensselaer officials to study state and local laws on air rifles and 22 caliber rifles. They consider an ordinance banning air or spring rifles and pistols for anyone under 21, with a possible presentation at next Wednesday's council meeting. In Schenectady, an ordinance already barred air or spring rifles for under 21, but did not address 22 caliber rifles.
