Burgh Girl Crowned Prom Queen at Lansingburgh High

Deborah Wallingford 17, daughter of Mr and Mrs Ray A Wallingford, was crowned Girls Athletic Association Prom queen at Lansingburgh High School. The senior plans to attend Hudson Valley Community College in the fall after a Candyland Carousel theme event. Her court includes Kathleen Ring Linda Felter Heather Wiley and others with about 80 couples attending. Music by the J D Fours and various committees organized the evening.

Pharmacists Set Sunday Installation Dinner for Troy Society

The Troy Area Pharmaceutical Society plans a Sunday 6 p.m. installation dinner at Sunset Inn with Louis Covatta as general chairman and J Dayton Doyle as installing officer. Edward Connally to begin a second term as president, and several officers to be reinstalled. Cocktails at 6, dinner at 7:15, dancing to follow. Guests include Walter Singer from Albany College of Pharmacy and two State Board members John Armao and David Kaye. The ticket committee and refreshments lead by Celenski, Fallon, Knight, and Herbert Savage. Covatta is proprietor and supervising pharmacist of Beman Park Pharmacy.
