Clifton Country Mall awaits tenants after Grant bankruptcy
Clifton Park, NY. General manager John F. MacDonald says the Clifton Country Mall will open March 11 with Carl Co. and Denby's as definite tenants and negotiations ongoing with at least three other chains for the 90000 square foot space once occupied by W. T. Grant Co. The mall, off Route 146 near exit 10 of the Northway, expects to employ about 700 people, and the opening was delayed by Grant’s bankruptcy filing.
