Reduced Gambling Pleas In Troy Court for Six Plea Deals
Six of seven defendants in a Troy Police Court gambling raid at 109 Congress Street pleaded guilty on Tuesday before Judge Timothy J. Fogarty. Robert Bentley faced loitering for promoting gambling with sentence deferred to Feb. 25. Four others withdrew innocent pleas and pleaded guilty to loitering a form of reduced gambling charge. All four were fined $50. Victor Cline paid a $250 fine after pleading guilty to promoting gambling in the second degree. The seventh case was adjourned.
