Lake Placid Wins $34.95 Million For 1980 Winter Games

Lake Placid will begin construction on Olympic facilities with a $34.95 million federal funding package. The money comes via reprogramming from $30.2 million for a fieldhouse ski jump luge run and facilities, plus $4.75 million for a federal prisons project turning athlete center into a youth prison after the games. Robbery at Bunker Hill Country Store Leads to Hearing
