New Nassau Bypass Faces Local Opposition

State DPW staff and Nassau planners weigh two bypass routes to route traffic away from Lord's Hill on Route 20. Ruddy notes 17 homes would be affected by the shorter plan, while the longer plan would mainly affect farm lands Ozga and Coral Fredenburg. Public hearing date to follow if opposition remains light.
