Organists Concert Set by Albany Chapter February 12

The Eastern New York Chapter of the American Guild of Organists meets February 12 at 8 p.m. in St. Paul’s Episcopal Church Albany for an organ and brass concert and choir music. Guest artists include the Schenectady brass quintet directed by Donald Paulson with Charles Moose at organ. The host church choir will perform, and Clarence Hollister will lead. A free will offering supports the chapter scholarship fund.

Two brothers survive crash. mother dead in Albany area

Thelma C Coyne dies after a collision that injured brothers Robert Phoenix 23 and John 14 as their father William E Phoenix fire chief of Troy recovers from injuries. Robert was released Thursday from Albany Medical Center Hospital. John remains in critical condition with head injuries and a fractured leg in East Greenbush two days after the crash.
