Concentration Camp Survivor Finds Faith in America
Abe Singer, a Troy watchmaker and jeweler, survived six Nazi concentration camps starting from a Polish town. He lost family to the camps and death marches, learned languages in captivity, and rebuilt his life in Scotland and England before immigrating to Troy with his wife and child. He now runs a thriving shop and cherishes U.S. citizenship as his family grows.
