Bacon Hill Grange held its December meeting at Mildred Peck's home with a covered dish supper. Miss Peck, lecturer for the Grange, presented a program titled Christmas Heritage.
Cambridge woman Charmaine B. Flaven aged 47 was killed in an auto crash. Deputies initially identified her as Charmaine Brownell based on pocketbook papers. The real name was Flaven, while Roland Brownell, 44, of RD 1 Buskirk, is reported in satisfactory condition at Mary McClellan Hospital.
Parkside Branch of Schenectady County YMCA will run a Christmas vacation schedule and a Youth Bring A Buddy Day on each day the facility is open. The Scotia location at 127 Droms Road offers several activities with scheduling details via the branch contact.
