Wealthy Couple Found Dead in Abandoned Mansion
In Cleveland a once wealthy couple William and Florence Roberts were found dead in their decaying Hastings Hill mansion overlooking Lake Erie. Police say they likely died within the past two weeks, the wife emaciated at 83 pounds and the husband still dressed, suggesting a shared fate. A family member noted years of isolation and poverty, with the mansion long cut off from utilities and care. Their faithful dog died alongside them, and a coroners inquest will determine the exact cause of death.
