Alaska development plan sparks warning from Maraten
States he has words of warning we must do something about Alaska. He says it needs people popioneers willing to work and citizens should acknowledge that development of vu northland is a national responsibility. Leaving Alaska undefended and unpopulated is economically unwise and potentially dangerous. Maraten, now an inactive duty, isn’t one to stay in southern California and reminisces. He already plans a modern real estate subdivision near Anchorage Alaska.
