Labor graft and federal inaction tied to Newburg tunnel scheme
James Bove of Yonkers, an international vice president, sent Wallace to supervise graft in Newburg as Nuzzo's assistant. Fay and Bove face extortion indictments. Wallace’s trips and egregious conduct paint a corrupt labor network. The DOJ has not moved, despite federal funds wasted on the same projects and mob atmosphere surrounding the Newbury probe. A separate note reports 17 year old Charles Scull Jr dies from gunshot wounds, with a coroner citing the incident. War bonds ad closes the piece.
