Spencertown Man Killed in Fiery Route 203 Crash

William Mesick, 33, of Spencertown died from burns and head injuries after a one vehicle crash on Route 203 in Austerlitz. His car left the road at 8 20 p m struck a utility pole and wires fell on the vehicle. he was dead at the scene as police and Spencertown fire crews arrived. Coroner Carl Jensen led the investigation with troopers from New Lebanon.

Mechanicville's Story Book Parade drew about 50 children from Pre School to fifth grade, up from 20 last year, marching from the library on Main Street to Talmadge Park led by Jennifer Kerr.
