Hoosick Falls residents will join Bennington officials in a joint commemoration at Bennington Battlefield Park Walloomsac on Tuesday marking 200 years since the 1777 battle. The event, led by Louis Bellemare and Christina Stevens, aims to honor the site and its park dedication history.

Richard Joyce, 35, of Saratoga Springs, pushed one son to the Manasquan River to save him and his other son from a Conrail train in Point Pleasant Beach New Jersey.
