The Tay Area Council of Chareh Wenjen will hold its annual May Fellowship Day service in Sh. Mari a Methodist Chopeh Friday at 10:30 am. A fellowship luncheon will follow. Former Vermont Officer Nervan Dies in Hospital
Francis Joseph Nervan, 60, a former Bennington police officer and longtime Albany resident, died Monday night at Pulnai Memorial Hospital. A Wilkes College alumnus, he was active in baseball, umpired college games, and later joined Eagles and Knights of Columbus in Bennington. Survived by wife Lu, four children, sister Miss Mary Greton, and others. funeral at St. Francis de Sales Church follows a private service from his home in Bennington.
