Censure Of Dodd Recommended In Senate Ethics Test
The Senate Ethics Committee recommends censure for Sen. Thomas J. Dodd over use of funds for personal purposes and double-billing travel expenses between 1961 and 1965. The 6- member panel found serious misconduct and possible legal issues, while noting Dodd will defend himself on the Senate floor. The action, if approved, would mark only the fifth censure in Senate history.
