Chamber Music Recital Delights Audience With Classic Masters
A two hour concert Saturday by the Friends of Chamber Music featured Giovannina de Blasis and Virginia de Blasis, Jay Rosenfeld, and George Finckel. The program included works by Mozart, Bach, Jean Francais, and Brahms, with a notable Bach C Major Suite for unaccompanied cello and an encore of Prokofieff. A student cello artist and a Piper violin piece provided variety, and the Vermont Symphony connection underscored the ensemble’s refined, classical approach.
