Dewey vetoes bill setting 120 hour fireman week

Governor Dewey yesterday vetoed a bill to cap Troy firemen at a 120 hour work week over 14 days with 14 hours in any 24 hour period and 15 days vacation per year. The measure faced opposition from the Conference of Mayors and State Comptroller Frank C.
