Dr. Gene S. Rogati of Valatie pleaded innocent in U S District Court Albany to a three count indictment alleging evasion of 10105 46 in income taxes for 1958 1959 and 1960 He reported 7545 08 while earning 45294 08 and was released to his attorney.
A Wynantskill housewife, Esther Gerwin, 40, was injured in a three vehicle crash on Pawling Avenue near Winter Street Troy police said. She was taken to Samaritan Hospital and admitted in satisfactory condition. The Gerwin car and the Rodino vehicle sustained minor damage while a third truck remained undamaged.
Murray Warrington of Berlin faced Troy Police Court on a charge of unlawful entry. He pleaded innocent, was remanded to Rensselaer County Jail, and the case adjourned until next Monday after police said he broke a window at 52 Congress Street.
Two 16 year old Cohoes girls appeared in Troy Police Court before Justice Matthew M. Dunne charged with petit larceny and fined 12.50 each after pleading guilty. Dorothy Colton of 17 Cedar St and Joann Swartz of 197 Saratoga St were arrested Saturday in Denbys 303 River St by a store detective for taking a $10 pair of women's slacks.
