Turn Down Annexation By Town
Nassau Town Board rejected annexation of Orchard Park to the Village of Nassau by a 3-2 vote, the second defeat in four months. The village has approved the annexation and offered to pay the full $2,500 water main cost to connect the development of 25 homes to the village system. A veto by the Appellate Division remains the development's only path to challenge the decision.
