Saratoga County Firemen Back Proposal for Volunteer Payouts
The Saratoga County Fire Chiefs Association backs a bill allowing towns to pay each volunteer fireman up to 10 dollars a year to fund upkeep. Grand Jury Will Consider Hughes and LaReda Case
James Francis Mughas aged 8 or 7 and Edward LaReda 71 were brought before Police Justice J. O'Conner on charges of attempted robbery. They were arrested early today and charged with an attempt to rob Timothy Mayty and his wife in the garage at the Bayly residence on Eagle Street. Hughes was represented by Joseph F. Purcell at the hearing.
