Hammond Receives Six Months For Assault
Joan J Hammond of 133 Ninth Street was sentenced to six months after pleading guilty to a third degree assault charge. The case arose from an incident involving a Watervisew woman. Hammond faced additional charges of second degree assault and related offenses. Police reports describe responding officers and the scene on River Street as Breation heard cries from a woman during the incident.
