War era notices list local service members and illnesses
The clipping lists numerous local residents involved in World War II service or affected by it. It names spouses and relatives, addresses, units including the Merchant Marine, First Airborne Division, and Waves, plus patients and illness such as scarlet fever. Several men are cited as overseas, in France or Alaska, with others serving at Sampson or Norfolk.
Fragmented OCR note on costs and private treatment options
The readable text hints at costs for private treatment and references individuals and places in a disjointed way. It mentions numbers like 530 and 12 years and includes unclear names such as Joe, and places like Broxdxar. The overall meaning is obscured by garbled OCR.
