County Grange Proceedings at Lincoln County Court House
A regular quarterly Lincoln County Grange meeting was held at the court house with many sub‑granges represented. Este Laugh, state grange master, attended and gave a public lecture. Eighteen applicants were initiated in the fifth degree, the first in the county. Committees reported on stock sales, auctions, and storage, inviting farmers to participate and supply items for sale. A joint stock subscription drive reported $780 secured so far, with plans to coordinate with Pike County Grange on transportation and boat rates through St. Louis discussions.
