Tripoli Jaycees cooperated with the state-wide Honey Sunday drive on September 26. The local chapter sold all 249 jars of honey and raised 245 dollars to be sent to State Jaycee Headquarters. Proceeds support mental retardation programs in Iowa.

Funeral Rites for Mrs. C. Spier Held at Waverly
Funeral services were held at St. Pauls Lutheran church in Waverly for Mrs. Clarence Spier 65 who died Friday at Methodist hospital Rochester Minnesota. Born January 29 1906 in Westgate she was married in Readlyn in 1925 and lived in Waverly 25 years. Annual Buddy Poppy Sale Returns in Tripoli
