One-car crash hospitalizes Mrs Bentley near Tripoli
Mrs Wm Bentley Jr formerly Rachel Bentley, driving car on highway 93 two miles north of Tripoli, lost control and struck a cement waterway. She and daughter Donna were taken to Mercy hospital in Waverly. Donna treated for a head cut and released. Mrs Bentley transferred to Allen Memorial in Waterloo in serious condition with multiple injuries. They run the Tripoli Bow-In.

One car crash injures Harms family near Tripoli
Velma Harms 40 of ripoli is hospitalized at Memorial Hospital in Waterville after a one car crash south of Tripoli. She sustained a broken back, ankle, and severe cuts. Harms' daughter Anne and Mrs Joyce Neuen of Sonia were treated and released for cuts. Neuendorf and Marvin Harms Husband were not injured. The driver lost control, veered into a ditch, and a farm driveway impact kicked Harms and her passenger from the car.

Adams Appointed To Head County Conservation Activities
Iowa Conservation Commission director Fred A. Priewert announced Doyle Adams as administrator of county conservation activities. Adams, once a Tripoli area resident, previously served four years as assistant administrator and earlier as unit game manager at Sweets Marsh. Funeral services for W. H. Warner 72, longtime Tripoli businessman, are set for Friday at Faith United Church of Christ with a 1:50 prayer and 2:00 service. Burial follows in the church cemetery. Tragedy in rural Tripoli claims teen bicyclist
Mark E Koschmeder 14 of rural Tripoli was killed when struck by a car on the Tripoli blacktop four miles south of Tripoli shortly after dark Monday evening. The driver Terry Jordan 22 also of rural Tripoli was not charged. Funeral set for Thursday at St. Matthew’s Readyn with burial in Readlyn.
