Bremer County September sales of Series E and II savings bonds totaled $36,259, raising nine month 1971 sales to $379,559, achieving 80 percent of the county quota. Six more counties surpassed goals, joining Clarke, Greene, Jefferson, Mahaska, Ringgold and Warren on the honor roll: Adair, Adams, Franklin, Lucas, O’Brien and Wayne.
