Mary E. Bopp 91 formerly of Tripoli died in Cedar Rapids after a broken hip. Funeral services were held Tuesday at Meier funeral home with Rev. Thomas B. Dixon officiating. Burial followed in Hawkeye cemetery. She was born July 20 1861 in Clinton County New York and lived in Windsor township Fayette and Clear Lake before moving to Tripoli and later Marion. Survived by son Clinton L. Bopp Marble Rock daughter Clara B Sorg Marion grandson Nathan F. Sorg Marion and two great grandchildren Ruth and Barbara Sorg Marion. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and the Congregational church of Tripoli.

Mrs H H Anderson Dies in Waverly at 78
Mrs H H Anderson 78 of Waverly passed away Sunday in Mercy hospital Waverly from age related complications. She was born April 13 1874 in Dubois Indiana and married Peter Henninger September 17 1893. The couple moved to Iowa in 1932. She later married H H Anderson in 1848 after Mr Henninger died in 1945. Survived by her husband six sons and four daughters, 47 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren. Funeral was held 9 am Wednesday at St Marys Catholic Church Waverly with burial in Alcock cemetery near Frederika.

His mother lives with Dr. Ralph Hartwell in New Orleans while Mrs. W. J. Dougherty, formerly Gladys Hartnel, and family reside in Sioux City. The group were friends of Horton Kirkpatrick, publisher of the Tripoli Leader in 1913-14.
