Panthers Win Narrowly Over Turkey Valley 20 19
The second half opened with Turkey Valley stalling a Panthers drive at the 15 yard line after four first downs. On offense, the Panthers moved to the 38 yard line before a holding penalty halted them. A TV punt out of bounds at the 23 yard line followed. Turkey Valley failed to convert a first down, giving the Panthers possession at the TV 37. Pass interference on Turkey Valley granted an automatic first down at the 20. After a five yard rush, Jim Kuhrt caught a pass in the end zone to trim the deficit to one. The locals trailed 20-19 at the end of the third. Turkey Valley was stopped early in the fourth and Tripoli gained possession at their 45 after a Kuhrt completion.
