Fiberglass Industry Attracts To Tripoli Community
A concerted effort by the Tripoli Development Corporation and a local business committee has drawn a fiberglass industry to Tripoli. Twenty businessmen attended the initial meeting, with a later session drawing nearly all interested residents. A stock offering led to securing the industry from its former location, and a lease option on an Island building was approved to house the plant. Jiff Hildebrand of Oat Manufacturing Company announced interior upgrades and plans to manufacture fiberglass acts for other firms, with room for future expansion.

Rites Held for Oscar Quade at Grace Church
Oscar Quade 71 died Sunday at Allen County hospital. Funeral services were held Wednesday at Grace Evan church with Rev. A C Setzer officiating. Interment in Grace cemetery. Bearers included Albert Quade Mark Bang Edward Sfrom Harold Quade Ver Quade Lorenz Sell. Quade born May 8 to Fred and Louise Quade. He worked many years in the county at Tripoli Implement Co. Survivors include his widow and one daughter Dorothy Buls of Tripoli, two grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs Mary Taylor 79 were held Monday afternoon in United Methodist Church of Frederika with Rev Wayne Kamm officiating. New Serviceman Begins at IPC Office
Francis Augustson, 26, started as maintenance serviceman at Inter State Power Company here Monday replacing Robert Lindquist who left last month.
