Quail Season in Iowa Opens November Sixth
Iowa conservation officials announced the quail season opens Saturday November 6 and runs through January 31 with daily shooting hours from 830 a.m. to 400 p.m. The bag limit is eight and possession limit sixteen with the entire state open. Two Car Crash Hospitalizes Three Tripoli Residents
Three Tripoli residents were hurt and five people total were taken to Allen Memorial hospital after a two car collision on highway 63 three miles north of the No 3 and 63 junction Monday afternoon. William F Krueger 83 was in critical condition Sophia Krueger 84 and Mrs Walter Beisner 54 both in serious condition were hospitalized. Warren Gilmore of Decorah faced critical injuries while his wife Olive stayed in serious condition. The Krueger car was southbound while the Decorah car traveled north at the time of impact.
