Memorial Day events include services at Union Mound cemetery with a program and graveside decorations. Auxiliaries of VFW and Legion, plus John Mil and others, gather at Ton Hall before marching to the cemetery. A new Avenue of Flags project plans casket flags for veterans, stored by the American Legion, with donations refundable upon return.
