Survived by two sons John Tripoli and Herman Readlyn two daughters Mrs H C Detterding Tripoli and Mrs Christ Brockman Readlyn one sister Mrs Carolina Hise Naperville Illinois and many grandchildren. Funeral Friday at 1 30 p m at the daughter’s home then 2 p m at St Matthews church Readlyn Rev Meyer officiating burial in St Matthews cemetery. Obituary will appear next week.

Fire department runs twice on Monday with two small blazes
Fire crews were called out twice Monday. The first alarm reported a stove fire at the Frank Koch residence causing light damage. A noon call followed for a tar fire behind the Tripoli Mercantile block where tar overheated on a furnace and ignited tar on a nearby truck, wrecking tar, a tire, and part of the truck cab and platform while producing heavy smoke.
