Two Tripoli Youths Injured in Auto Crash
Two Tripoli youths James Kuhrt and Lionel Bergmann were hospitalized after a Sunday morning crash two miles north of Denver on highway 63. Kuhrt, 20, remained in serious condition in ICU Tuesday after striking his head and chest. Bergmann, 19, was released from Allen Memorial Hospital after being found dazed on the road.

Funeral Services Held Today for Wm. Dohrmann 82
William H. Dohrmann died Sunday after a lengthy illness. Funeral services were held today at Grace Lutheran church with interment at St. John's Cemetery Crane Creek. He was born October 2, 1885 in Fremont township Bremer County and leaves widow Louise Steege plus six stepchildren. He had served as church organist for 20 years and was active in local church work. He previously lived north of Tripoli and operated a dairy route and later a saw filing business. Crewmates listed as pallbearers include Paul Dohrmann and Victor Nacke.
