Awarded Damages in Dubuque Auto Fatality Case
The federal jury in Dubuque awarded Grace Allen damages of 10 250 to the plaintiff in the case over her husband Millard Allen's death in a highway 218 crash between here and Janesville a year ago. Mrs Allen sued for 25 000 in Bremer district court. defendant C J Meredith of North Dakota sought transfer to the federal court. Millard Allen died at Mercy Hospital a few hours after the accident.
