The Ipoli Area Church marks its 110th anniversary in a bicentennial year with a 10:00 sacrament worship led by Pastor Salveson from the Iowa District ALC. 110 Years Ago St John Lutheran Church Heritage Sunday
Crane Creek’s St John Lutheran Church organized January 11 1865 but began April 2 1866. For 110 years of God’s Grace it held a heritage Sunday on July 11 with attendees in old style dress, buggies and horses and old cars. Worship featured gender seating, Klingebeuttal collection, old candles, pastor’s chair and hymn boards.
