French exchange student stays with Denver family

Vincent Arouelh a 15 year old from St. Fleour France visits Iowa July with the Larry Juhl family RR 1 Denver under the International Student exchange of Black Hawk County Inc working with North Atlantic Cultural Exchange League Tours France. District Receives 2.2 Million in Revenue Sharing Funds

Bremer County and its cities were listed with July revenue sharing totaling 87,203 and year to date payments at 1,506,806. Nationwide revenue sharing has sent 26.7 billion to over 38,600 governments. Mrs Anna Slack remains hospitalized at St Marys in Rochester for the past three weeks.

Waverly Senior Citizens Plan Five Day Trip

The Waverly Senior Citizens group plans a five day trip to Gunflint Lodge on the Canadian border from October 11 to 15. An advance registration of 25 dollars is due by July 26 at the Center, with the balance paid at the lodge.
