Frederika defeated Tripoli 34 to 16 as Jordan led with sharp shooting while Frederika’s defense keyed a third quarter surge. A fire Sunday, likely from an overheated stove, destroyed the brick bank building in Oran. All bank records and equipment were saved, and operations resumed Tuesday in Jungblut Hardware. Oelwein fire department answered, but flames were advanced before they could be controlled.
