Eliza beth Lindner Reimler born September 8 1855 in Helenville Wisconsin died January 5 1932 at age 76 in Waterloo at the home of her daughter Mrs S J Longfellow after a Christmas stroke. She married Fred Reimler July 3 1882 lived on a Sumner farm before moving to Sumner then Waterloo five years ago. Survived by two daughters Mrs John X Meyer and Mrs S J Longfellow both of Waterloo a step daughter Mrs W J Feind of Jefferson Wis and three step sons Henry Will Reimler of Sumner Louis Reimler of Oelwein two brothers August and Will Lindner of Jefferson and four sisters Mrs Anna Scheller Mrs Flora Horn Mrs Nellie Nettler and Miss Ida Lindner of Helenville. Short funeral services were held in Waterloo O Keefe Towne chapel by Rev W C Lang and at Evangelical church in Sumner. Interment beside her husband in Zion cemetery northwest of Sumner.

The community mourns the death of Chas Lehmkuhl at his city home on Wednesday at 10 30 am. He died of cancer at age 67 years 8 months and 2 days. Long associated with Buck Creek area and later Tripoli, he worked as a carpenter and contractor. Funeral service Sunday at 1 30 pm from the house and St John Lutheran Church with Rev E A Hants officiating. Burial in Evangelical cemetery north of town. 58th Anniversary of Mr and Mrs Fred Spohr
Mr and Mrs Fred Spohr of this city celebrated their fifty eighth wedding anniversary last Thursday. Married in Waverly 58 years ago, they have lived here ever since. They are parents of seven children, all but two sons Fred Spohr and Herman Spohr of Waterloo are deceased. Mr Spohr worked 45 years for the Illinois Central railroad and is now pensioned. The couple are both 82 and enjoying excellent health.
