Lavern Tegtmeier owner of Tripoli Bowl-In and Jerry Snelling form a partnership. Snelling assumes duties as manager of the local bowling establishment starting February 1. The move aims to boost bowling enthusiasm with new tournaments and junior leagues. Snelling also runs a cream pickup for Tripoli Cooperative Creamery and will share responsibilities with Tegtmeier. State to revamp driver point system after decades

Final Rites for John Spier at Readlyn Saturday
Funeral services were held Saturday at St. Matthew's Lutheran church Readlyn for John Spier aged 92 who died January 31.
