Funeral Services Held Monday for Carl Hildebrandt
Funeral services for Carl W. Hildebrandt 67 were held Monday at 1 45 at Rettig Funeral Home and 2 at St Peters Evangelical and Reformed Church. He died unexpectedly at home Wednesday evening. Interment followed in St Peters Cemetery. He was born March 10 1893 in Warren township and married Anna Degner in Crown Point Indiana on April 11 1936. Survived by wife and one daughter Mrs Floyd Beisner, plus a brother John and a sister Mrs Emma Boderman. His parents and another brother Fred preceded him.

Graveside rites led by Rev Paul Clements New Hampton with survivors including his wife two daughters a sister and extended family. Moeller suffers foot injury in Friday accident
Local businessman Loren Pete Moeller sustained a severe cut to his right foot last Friday afternoon when he jumped from his truck and landed on a sharp metal piece, cutting through his overshoe and into his foot. He was taken to Scholtz Memorial hospital in Waterloo for surgery to repair the tendon. He will be unable to return to active construction work for some time.
