Oren Hinecker, 68, Frederika, died Saturday night at Veterans hospital Iowa City. Services were Tuesday at Rettig Funeral Home with Rev. W. H. Klein officiating. Interment in Alcock cemetery, Frederika. Sumner American Legion Post conducted military rites. Casket bearers named. Survivors include wife three daughters a step-daughter and three step-sons a brother two sisters.

Elementary grades of Tripoli Community School present two Christmas programs this season one at Frederika and another at Tripoli. The Frederika attendance center program is Thursday Dec 16 at 8:00 p.m. in the Frederika school, and the Tripoli elementary vocal program is Monday Dec 20 at 8:00 p.m. at the High School. Both under the direction of Mrs Maynard Anderson, elementary music instructor.

Verndale Man Suffering Cerebral Hemorrhage
Dr. and Mrs. V. G. Goebel were called to Verndale Minnesota Sunday for the illness of his father H. F. Goebel 82 who suffered a cerebral hemorrhage Saturday. Mr. Goebel is at his daughter’s Farmington Minnesota home. The Goebels returned home Tuesday.

Iowa Law Requires Rabies Vaccination for Dog Licensing
Bremer county assessor William J. Kelling notes about 2,500 dogs in Bremer county must be vaccinated for rabies before licensing. Registration money cannot be accepted until vaccination is proven. Beginning June 1, 1966, only dogs kept in kennels and never at large are exempt.
