A drawing at 3 p.m. at the American Savings Bank corner awards hams, with tickets sold by participating merchants. Children under 12 join an Easter egg hunt at Town Hall at 2 p.m., prizes based on numbers posted in store windows.

Readlyn Youth Dies After Auto Mishap Funeral at Oelwein
Kenneth M. Matthias aged 19 died after a Sunday auto crash on Highway 3 near Oelwein when his car hit a bridge abutment. Funeral services were held in Oelwein. He was a Readlyn High School graduate of 1958 and is survived by his father Melvin Matthias, mother near Oelwein, brother Leroy, three sisters Mary Taylor Hud son Ridgewald and Mrs James Minimiz, and grandmother Mrs William Happel.

Three local businessmen William A. Buckley L. L. Moeller and Paul Voetmann secured the lease to furnish a new brick post office for Tripoli. A tentative Sept. 16 completion was set but blueprints must be approved first. The project may begin after final site purchase from H G Miller.
