Tri-State College names Zollner and Walb to top posts
The annual meeting at Angola elected Dr. Fred Zollner as chairman and Walter W. Walb as vice chairman of Tri-State College’s Board of Trustees. Legion Color Guard To Parade in Tri-State Fall Festival
The Angola American Legion Post 81 will again provide a color guard for the Tri-State Fall Festival Parade. Guard members include Ross Dailey, George Myers, Max Julian, Charles Kratz, Ed Johnson, Robert Cary, Mack Hosack, Cleon Wells, Hunt Leslie, Bob Sams, Wes Babcock, Ned Fisher, and Lee Hirsh. Post 31 also announces a fish fry Friday on the grounds starting 5:30 p.m. for $1.00. The Post is on East Maumee past Cameron Hospital near the football, soccer and baseball fields.

Thai engineer Dr Vitha to visit Tri State College campus
Dr. Pienvichitr Vitha, Dean of Engineering at Khon Kaen University, Thailand, will visit Tri-State College on Monday October 25 as part of a US tour before assuming duties in his homeland. Michigan State Universitys Prof Leo Nothstine accompanies him. Dean Wayne Gilchrist hosts, with John D. Ryder arranging the visit.

Bloodmobile Coming Here November 23 at Angola City Building
The Steuben County Chapter of the American Red Cross calls for donors for the next Bloodmobile visit at Angola City Building on Tuesday November 23 from 10 am to 4 pm. Tri-State College aid is sought to support the blood donor program with appointments available in advance and walk-in slots in the last ten minutes of each hour. Donors aged 18 to 21 must have parental consent, obtainable from the Dean of Students office.
